This page explains what information hantingzhu.com collects, why, and how it's handled.

What I collect

Email newsletter signup. If you subscribe to be notified of new posts, you do it on Substack, the newsletter platform. Substack collects your email address and handles unsubscribing, under its own privacy policy.

Contact form. If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and message. It reaches me by email and is not saved in a database. Contact form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam.

What I don't collect

I do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies on this site. I do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Where your data is stored

Contact form messages are delivered to me by email using Resend. Newsletter subscriptions are held by Substack. This site runs no database of its own. Both providers have their own privacy and security practices, which you can review on their respective websites.

Your rights

You can request that I delete your email address or contact form submission at any time by reaching out through the contact page.

If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated, and the "last updated" date above will reflect that.
